M.A.C RED BY MAC


Everyone loves a red lip? Right? I myself am partial to a red lip every now and then when I feel the need to look sophisticated and sassy. I like to pair red lips with a simple and plain outfit so that I don't look too full on and in your face and makeup wise I  leave my eyes rather plain so that all of the attention is focused on the pout!

When working at the airport I was able to buy wonderful products at discounted products including things from MAC Cosmetics, hence why I picked this beautiful shade of lipstick up while I was there! Its quite a deep shade of red with blue tones, which I quite like as it looks powerful, its a satin finish so its a matt finish with a slight shine to it which still keeps the lips feeling moisturised. The staying power is a bonus swell with a red lipstick as it stains the lips giving a lasting effect. I am definitely happy with this purchase and can't wait to style it up with different looks!

    What a lovely shade! I'm still lusting over Russian Red, but it seems like it's not that different from M.A.C Red. I wish I could shop duty-free, too!

    I love a red lip! I have russian red, and diva! Both matte shades, I think i'm beginning to sway towards satin lippies from mac now! Love the post

      This is the only 'proper' deep red lipstick I have apart from an old e.l.f one that has sadly finished. Excited to try out some others, Russian red is definitely on my list of next purchases!

      Russian Red is next on my list of red lipsticks to buy! I love deep dark shades through the winter, can't say no to a vampy look aha!
