OOTD: GAGA

Hat: Topshop | Leather Jacket: Topshop | Tshirt: Gaga Tour | Necklace: Charity Chop | Rings: Accessorize | Skirt: Topshop | Belt: Charity Shop | Socks: Primark | Dr Martens: The Doc Shop

How unpredictable is the weather at the minute!? I mean, I don't know whether to risk it and go out summery and get rained on or layer up and sweat buckets because I'm dressed for the arctic! This time I managed to get it right as it was a tad chilly so I'm glad I stuck the jacket and socks on. Another overall rock chick kind of vibe going on within my outfit, but if you know it works why change right? The purple check skirt adds colour and a bit of a 'clueless' look to the outfit - who doesn't want to look like they've stepped right out of the 90s! I topped it off with my Doc Martens that I picked up from The Doc Shop around a year ago for £30! (see my recent Doc Shop post here)

What do you think of 90s fashion? Is it still on trend?

OOTD: FISHNET & DENIM

Hat: Topshop | Necklaces: Charity Shop/Topshop | White Tshirt: Topshop | Fishnet Vest: Primark | Jeans: Primark | Belt: Charity Shop | Watch: Citizen | Ring: Primark/Accessorize | Shoes: River Island

Now its warmer I can feel comfortable showing flesh, even if it is only a little bit of midriff! As usual I tend to lean more toward a grunge/girly look with the fishnet and accessories and as the outfit if overall quite plain, I added a few more than usual to spice things up.

I just want to bring to light how much of a bargain these jeans were! So I did have a pair of Topshop Mom jeans which I had for around a year, but they either shrunk in the wash or I outgrew them (I like to tell myself that they shrunk) but I came across these in Primark for only £13 and they are practically the exact same but for more than half the price. Some of you may look past Primark and think that the quality or designs aren't up to scratch within current trends, but seriously at the minute its worth checking out before splurging on something you could have for a fraction of the price.

Not really been up to much, just strolling around in sun making the most of it while I can (I shall explain why in an upcoming 'chit chat' post). But I hope you are making the most of the sun as Summer is finally on the way, yippee!

OOTD: TUTTI FRUTTI

Jumpsuit: Topshop | Jumper: Primark | Belt: Charity Shop | Shoes: Schuch | Watch: Citizen | Clutch: Unknown (similar seen in Primark!)

This is before a night out on the town with the girls! I hadn't really posted a 'dressy' outfit of the day, so I thought I would make a start. The jumpsuit is a size to big for me, hence why I have a jumper over the top. You may be thinking 'why did you buy it if it is too big for you!? well- it was in the sale for £15 from around £50 and with student discount on top it was even cheaper, I wasn't going to let that offer slip away from me when the print and style is utterly perfect.

To dress it down a little, I wore my T-bar monochrome shoesies and they seem to be the only heels I can wear out at the minute without my feet dying!

Have you picked up any bargains recently?

OOTD: LEOPARD PRINT

Coat: Zara | Jumper: H&M | Jeans: Topshop | Shoes: Topshop | Bag: Primark | Necklace: Topshop | Watch: Citizen | Rings: Assorted (River Island, Urban Outfitters, Topshop & Primark | Lipstick: MUA Shade 13

I've had this coat for about two years now and I think I've worn it a grand total of once, which is a shame because now I think its the most wonderful coat in my wardrobe! Its such a bold piece of clothing that is easy to put on with a plain outfit to spice things up and it just looks so sophisticated I think. It's been quite dull this week weather wise but still quite warm hence why I haven't layered this outfit much. I went for a mooch around the shops with mum so I needed a casual and comfortable outfit, easy to throw on and off if I needed to try anything on.

How dull has the weather been for you this week? Been up to much?

OOTD: RED & BLACK

Sunglasses: Primark | Choker: Ebay | Top: Charity Shop | Jeans: Primark | Bag: River Island | Sandals: Primark | Watch: Casio

Quite a simple 'Ive just thrown this on' kind of outfit. I was about to walk to my hans house, so there was no reason to dress up as such. I feel as though there is a 90s vibe about this look, with the choker and style of top which I managed to find in my local charity shop! I've just realised how much black is in this outfit - even though it was quite warm outside, so I was baked before I even reached my nans house!

What were you up too in the sun?

OOTD: THE FLORAL SHIRT

Floral shirt: Vintage Market | Top: H&M | Skirt: American Apparel | Watch: Casio | Clutch: Primark | Flatforms: Primark

I love clutch bags at the minute, for my essential items that I need with me, rather than lugging a massive bag around that I fill with pointless rubbish. These flatforms are so comfy and easy to walk in as they aren't really a heel so my foot is more or less flat. I personally think this could be worn within the day and taken through onto the night, with the help of some more accessories like a chunky necklace?

What do you think? Would you rock this day or night? or both?

OOTD: FLORAL STRIPES

Sunglasses: Primark | Necklace: Charity Shop | Tshirt: Primark | Playsuit: Urban Outfitters | Belt: Charity Shop | Bag: Primark | Reebok Classics: ShopStyle.co.uk

It's finally feeling like summer here in England! Just a casual comfy outfit to run some errands in, I thought I would take advantage of the sun and walk rather than catching a bus or taxi (plus I'm so unfit its ridiculous! - this is changing as of now!) hence why I have my Reebok classics on which I LOVE to bits as they're all lilac and pretty. I'm not going to babble on as the pictures are pretty self explanatory of what I'm wearing. Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather!

OOTD: PRIMARK OVERLOAD

Jumper: Primark | Skirt: Primark | Sandals: Primark | Bag: Primark

So I put together this outfit, then realised that every single item was from Primark! In my opinion I don't think any item look particularly 'cheap' and Primark have had some amazing items in store lately (as I seem to be mentioning far too much in my posts haha) But anyway! I put this fluffy jumper on as a substitute for a jacket as its too cold without one and just a shirt on but far too hot to be wearing both. I kept it simple without any jewellery or accessories as the bold print of the skirt and bold colour of the bag is all that the outfit needed.

OOTD: DENIM & CHECK

Denim Jacket: Charity Shop | Band Top: Primark | Skirt: Urban Outfitters | Belt: Charity Shop | Shoes: Schuh | Frilly Socks: Primark | Bag: Topshop | Lipstick: MUA Shade 2

I love a good old band t-shirt (yes, I listen to their music and know who they are!), I find them so easy to throw on and grunge up an outfit. I went for a casual vibe within this outfit but added a dressier touch with the heeled T-bar shoes. Perfect for a mooch around the shops or a casual lunch date! I am trying to wear more of my millions of pairs of shoes at the minute as I seem to just go for the same few pairs all the time and leave the rest sitting in the wardrobe gathering dust!

What do you think of band tee's?

OOTD: LAZY DAY

Jumper: H&M | Jeans: Topshop | Creepers: Underground

You may have seen that I have worn this jumper in a previous outfit post (here), but I can't stop wearing it as it's the most comfiest thing ever! Super soft - perfect for a lazy day like I've had today. I paired it with my Topshop Joni Jeans as they are stretchy and easy to lounge around in. Off to the post office now to post some jewellery orders I've had, then coming back to get into bed and finish writing my essay.
Check out my etsy store: HerSmallTreasures

What are you up too today? I'm sure its a lot more entertaining than essay writing!

OOTD: CREAM & BLACK

Jumper: H&M | Shorts: H&M | Bag: Primark | Socks: Primark | Dr Martens: The Doc Shop | Rings: Accessorize

Its that annoying part of the year in England where its too warm to wrap up but still too cold to go out in next to nothing. I managed to find a medium by layering an oversized jumper over some shorts with long socks so I'm still snug as a bug but cool as a cucumber! Its such a casual yet grunge-y look, thanks to the docs, which is my favourite kind of vibe to go for. I recently got my hair cut a lot shorter than I have had for years and Im really liking how a top knot works with the length of my hair now, and its super quick to do which saves me time in the mornings rather than taming long locks all the time!

OOTD: RED DAISIES

Dress: Primark | Jumper: Primark | Converse: Schuh | Bag: Primark | Necklace: HerSmallTreasures
Watch: Casio

Just realised I'm a bit of a Primark Queen in this outfit -my bad! Anyway, it's quite a cheap and cheerful look for a sunny day in town. A day in the shops it is, hence why I went for a loose fitted dress/jumper combo - not something I tend to go for usually as I love my clothes to be fitted or give me some shape normally.  I finished it off with converse for a laid back and casual vibe and they're also SO comfy.

What have you been up to in the sunshine lately?

HOW I WEAR: CLEATED HEELS

Cleated Heels: Ebay (here)
Please excuse my knobbly knees & really awkward poses haha!
(From left to right)
Outfit one:
Choker necklace: Ebay
Oversized Tshirt Dress: Primark

Outfit two:
Choker Necklace: HerSmallTreasures (here)
Top: H&M
Shirt: Vintage Market
Jeans: Topshop (sale)

Outfit three:
Necklace: Topshop (sale)
Top: Zara (sale)
Dress: Topshop
Belt: Charity Shop

As these cleated heels are about 6 inches high, I don't wear them on a day-to-day basis, however on a night out, they are my best friend!  These are outfits that I would wear on a night out on the town - despite how high they are, they are surprisingly comfy and don't hurt my feet because of the platform sole. I do however have to wear ankle socks with them as my ankles are quite skinny and look like twigs without them, but it all adds to the look I suppose!  Totally worth the buy, as they can give even the girliest outfit a grunge vibe which is right up my street!

OOTD: PINK VELVET

Sunglasses: Primark | Top: Zara | Skirt: River Island | Belt: Charity Shop | Bag: Primark | Shoes: Topshop

Just a casual day, catching up with my friend now I'm home from Uni. As usual in England, its sunny out but still a bit chilly hence why I incorporated tights and a long sleeve top into the look. I love a grunge vibe within my outfits but I like to add 'girly' pieces into the combination just to lighten things up. The belt I managed to find in a local charity shop and I now wear it almost everyday!

ISABELLA BLOW: FASHION GALORE!

Yesterday I took a trip to London to spend the day with my mum, as I hadn't seen her in about a month! I had a bit of a crazy start getting there, due to the weather, trains being delayed and all sorts of other mishaps. But once there I had a wonderful time!

We went to the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! Exhibition at Somerset house to start with, which was so good! I absolutely adore Alexander Mcqueen and all of his work, some of which was featured within the exhibition much to my excitement. Along with other designer pieces from Monolo, Givenchy along with many Philip Treacy Hats which are amazingly designed and constructed. Within the exhibition, many of Blows own works were shown, which as a styling student myself has inspired me greatly and I now have so many ideas floating around my head which I am dying to try out! At a cost of £12.50 or £10 concessions, it is definitely worth the money and worth a look around. You will definitely leave feeling very inspired and in awe of the work within!

Of course, a trip to London wouldn't be complete without a little sightseeing! Here are just a few snaps of places we had a wander round throughout our day and a cheeky outfit snap to show you guys what I was wearing yesterday!

Leather jacket - Topshop
Fur collar - Ebay
Black Jumper - Primark
Shirt - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Necklace - Primark
Bag - Primark
Just realised how Primark/Topshop heavy my outfit was! - oops!
Have you been to the Isabella Blow exhibition? What did you think?
